JEFFRY A. JEVE
He graduated from the degree Bachelor of Science in Biology Major in Marine Biology at Visayas State University - Main Campus last 2019. He is a dedicated biologist, former CHED and DOST Scholar who finishes tasks in accordance to the work load given, working as a Part-Time Instructor for two consecutive semesters at the Department of Biological Sciences - Visayas State University, Visca, Baybay City, Leyte.

Subjects handled include: General Biology | Science, technology and Society | Microbiology and Parasitology (Lab) |  Zoology | Genetics

He likes vlogging, wherein he edits his own video and uploads his contents on youtube. He also likes blogging and stays organized as much as possible. Exerting efforts was his thing to catch the attention of the students like making interactive discussions, outstanding powerpoint presentations and easy to access online support site.

JEVE JA Attended The 51st Annual Convention of FIMFS

                  Jeve, Jeffry A. participated in the 51st Annual Convention of Federation of Institutions for Marine and Freshwater Sciences (FIMFS) as poster presenter, on October 16-19, 2019 at Southern Leyte State University - Main Campus, Sogod, Southern Leyte. The theme for that event was "Finding ways together for sustainable aquatic ecosystems". The study he presented is entitled "Assessment of the Planktonic Communities and Primary Production in the Coastal Waters of Himokilan Island, Cuatro Islas Protected Landscape and Seascape, Leyte". It was placed under the student category. He was able to join the event with the help of his adviser (2nd picture from the left, clockwise) and the financial assistance of the Department of Biological Sciences, Visayas State University. Attending the convention gave him the chance to take a photo with the well known Filipino scientists including  Dr. Paciencia P. Milan, former President  of ViSCA - recently known as VSU (The lady at the center of the 3rd picture from the left, clockwise) and Dr. Jurgenne H. Primavera, author of various mangrove studies (4th picture from the left, clockwise).

JEVE JA Awards and Achievements

Last June 14, 2019, Jeve, Jeffry A. earned his Bachelor's degree in Biology Major in Marine Biology at the Visayas State University, Baybay City, Leyte. He graduated as TOP 5 among the Bachelors of Science in Biology graduates, class of 2019. Also, he graduated the same year with his older brother Jan Warren A. Jeve, who is now a licensed Doctor of Veterinary Medicine. From striving hard supported by his family and friends, he was able to make it. JEVE, JEFFRY A. #Proudviscan

The same year, a month after the graduation, Jeve, Jeffry A. received a "Plaque of Recognition" for graduating CUM LAUDE at the Summit Hotel. Tacloban City. He is a DOST scholar graduate under the JLSS-DOST scholarship program. 

Jeve, Jeffry A. was able to attend several seminars and trainings and excel together with his co-biologists/DOST scholars (2nd picture from the left). Prior to the graduation, he received a certificate from the university for being a consistent university honor. In the first picture from the left, you can see him holding the certificate received by the Organization of Biology Students (OBioS) for being the best organization for the course-related organization category. Jeve, JA is part of the OBioS as the 4th year representative.

As mentioned in the overview about Jeve, JA above, he is developing video contents in youtube. He features different field of  video categories. It ranges from e-games, food vlogs to music and other entertainment.
